Feel free to get in touch if there is anything you would like to handle differently. Unless otherwise agreed to in advance, our standard policies will stand.

Sizing

We will help you get the ring size best for your finger. Ring sizes fit differently depending on a lot of variables including ring widths and shapes. If you do not know your ring size, once you place your order, we will send you a ring sizer. We will further consult with you in order to get your best fit.

Payment

Contact us at 423-460-4321 to arrange payment by a credit card or wire transfer. Our online store processes credit card sales up to $4000. We will only ship to the billing address or to another confirmed shipping address on record with your credit card company. For security purposes, purchases of over $4000 to unknown accounts can be made by wire transfer.

Taxes

We are located in Johnson City, Tennessee, USA. Sale tax is only charged for sales within the state of Tennessee. If you are a resident or use a Tennessee shipping address, we must charge the applicable sales tax unless you are a wholesale trade account, with a resale tax number. If you are located outside of Tennessee, there is no applicable sales tax.

Shipping Basics

Our standard method of shipping is UPS, Signature Required. Please let us know if you require an alternative method at the time of your order. Federal Express and USPS are also available.

We only ship within the United States.

Shipping Charges

For domestic shipments, we typically use UPS Next Day shipping. Please add $25 for overnight shipping, handling and insurance for all orders valued under $1500. Orders valued between $1501-10,000 will incur shipping & insurance charges of $35.

Items over $10,000 will be shipped by special arrangement; we will contact you or email us at if you have questions.

Shipment Dates

For in-stock items that do not need sizing, we typically ship within three business days from the date we receive your order. Rings that need sizing will require five days. Shipments are made Monday through Thursday. We cannot ship on Fridays because our shipping insurance will not cover jewelry items waiting in shipping outposts over the weekend, when theft risk is higher.

You will receive a shipment confirmation email with the tracking number of the shipment via email. In the case of an emergency, last minute jewelry purchase we will do our best to meet your deadline. Delivery timing of special orders will be discussed individually.

Receipt of Shipments

The shipping insurance ceases once the package has reached its final destination and has been signed for. You, or an agent, MUST BE present to receive your shipment and possibly present ID upon delivery. Once the package is signed for, it is no longer insured and is your responsibility. Please make sure that only an authorized and trusted person has the ability to accept a package on your behalf.
We can only ship to the confirmed address associated with your credit card or bank account, without prior discussion and permission.

If your shipping box or container is received damaged and/or the seal broken, YOU MUST open the package in front of the delivery agent, preferably filming the opening as documentation, to be sure no damage to the contents occurred in transit. This is extremely important in filing an insurance claim with the shipper. Please thoroughly inspect the contents of your package.

Appraisals

We provide an “in-house” appraisal as part of your purchase which includes a photograph and a detailed description of your piece of jewelry and its retail replacement value. The appraisal can be used to insure your item or provide you with a detailed description.

Returns Policy

We accept returns and exchanges within 10 days of receipt for all items in their original, unworn condition. All sales of custom work, rings we have sized, engraved or altered to your specifications are final.

In the unlikely event you’re returning an item, please email or call us to authorize your return; we do not accept unauthorized returns. We will provide your prepaid, fully insured return shipping label, via email, to return ship your item.

Refunds will be processed in the manner in which your purchase was made. Your account will be credited in full, less original shipping charges and applicable credit card fees. If the piece has been damaged or used improperly, we cannot accept the return. You must contact us to authorize your return. We cannot accept unauthorized returns under any circumstances.

Intellectual Property

All designs, concepts and photographs are the intellectual property of David Bachman Jewelry and are protected under law. Written permission is required to reproduce, edit or alter any of our material.
